The directions to Ridge are pretty straight-forward. From Ridge to the home has a few exits/turns that are easy to miss.

• You will know you have reached Ridge when the speed limit reduces to 40. On your left you will pass the Dollar General (not a Dollar store – it is a general store with household goods and groceries), the Liquor Store next to it (in Maryland you have to go to a liquor store to get all alcohol as opposed to Virginia), and gas pumps in front. Then next you will pass the Ridge Hardware store. Those are the last stores except Buzz’s Country store which will be on the right after a few minutes.

• The turn off from 5 onto the Cornfield Harbor Rd is a bit hard to see. It is a 90-degree small paved road immediately after a roadside fruit/vegetable stand called Trossbach Produce. (You know you have gone too far if you pass the confederate graveyard on your right.)

• Cornfield Harbor Road is a paved quite beautiful road curving through the woods and wetlands. You will take a left when you get to two white concrete gates on your left (before all the mailboxes) onto Cornfield Harbor Dr.

• You will continue on this road straight through the wetlands and over a small bridge. This road may at times be flooded.

• After the bridge the concrete road will end and you will need to take the gravel road to the right.
  

• After entering the gravel road, please drive slowly and follow the 10mph speed limit.

• You will pass a bunch of small, cute cottages until you get to our home – marked with 13985 and a gravel pad on the right side of the home. You can fit two cars side by side on the main pad. If you have more than 2 cars – one car can pull forward towards the shed.
