Food/Drink/Groceries

The Lighthouse Restaurant and Dockbar
Try the crabcakes – they are delicious! The cheese sandwiches are our son’s favorite!

The Tiki Bar
This is, well, a tiki bar. And it is a very popular place in the summer. It does get packed in the evenings.

Running Hare Vineyard
A great place to visit. Informal outdoors seating to relax and try some wines and food. They sometimes have live music and other event. The frozen blood orange wine is great.

The CD Cafe
Great small place to eat. They have Gluten Free entree options. They also sometimes have $20 dinner specials Monday-Thursday 4pm-6pm.

Rita’s Italian Ice
When it is hot outside, there is no place like Rita’s to get some Italian Ice or Custard. 15 mins away near Solomons.

Pier450 – Restaurant
This one is a bit of a distance away. It is a nice restaurant if you are down in the Point Lookout area (they have a Smiths Islan cruise from there.) Outside relaxed seating, firepits and bar. Or sit inside in their dining room or bar. Nice atmosphere for the whole family. The Spanish Paella was really good.

Sneade’s Ace Home Center
So, this is a hardware store. However, they do have a section inside to the right that is well-stocked with beach-themed signs and items if you want to bring home a souvenir for yourself. They usually also greet you when you enter which is nice!

Giant
Closest grocery store. If you want the local flavor, try Weis Markets down the street instead.

Weis Markets
Food supermarket that may be more interesting than the Giant down the street you may be more familiar with.

Buckets Bar and Grill
Local hangout, bar and restaurant. Closest restaurant to the property and great for a quick takeout (8-10 mins each way.) Menu and events on their Facebook. The gas station in front also has liquors and alcohol if you are looking for that.
